Camille Babut du Marès

Camille Babut du Marès was born in Brussels and began studying the violin at the age of 4. A graduate of several European institutions and prize-winner at many international competitions, Camille is regularly invited to perform at concerts in Europe and of course in Belgium (Bozar, Flagey …). This young violinist inspires genuine enthusiasm from the public and she most often plays as a soloist (Orchestre Symphonique de Liège, Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra …) and in a duo and trio.

Camille has regularly performed as a soloist – playing Mendelssohn’s concerto at the Aula Magna and several times in Portugal (notably at the opera house in Lisbon), as well as Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante.

She is the founder of the Cosmopolitan Duo (with the pianist Maiko Inoue; they organised a tour in 2015), the Amethys Trio (with Clément Holvoet and Kacper Nowak), the tango show Allô? (directed by Stéphan Druet) and the family show Le voyage de Charlie.

A committed musician, Camille is the artistic director of the festivals Les Musicales / Les Estivales de la Woluwe. Recently she played alongside Gérard Caussé, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Pascal Moraguès, ...

She joined Zinnetango in 2023. They were invited to perform at La Locura Tango Festival (Innsbruck - AT) in 2025.
